Features |
 | | | | | | No other software has this unique and exciting feature: Internet resources are available to enhance your enjoyment of weather monitoring, by displaying current weather images as a backdrop to your data. You can record data from one of over 300 other automatic stations around the UK.

 | | | | | | Entering your weather data: Data is entered in two ways either from an electronic weather station (Skymet Standard) or by hand (Skymet Observer). Currently the L12 Matrix Weather Station is compatible with Skymet Standard. If you do not own the Matrix then Skymet Observer is for you. It has been designed specifically for weather enthusiasts to keep long term records without disappearing under a mountain of record sheets. A number of parameters can be stored including temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed & direction.

 | | | | | | Weather display screen: This screen shows local data whether input by hand or by machine. It gives the latest available archived outdoor data for review. This is not the real-time data; it will remain blank on a new installation until an archived record is created. The default archive interval is 10 minutes. Also shown at the top of the screen is the database currently in use. This screen also allows review of remote data sourced from the internet.
| | |
 | | | | | | Creating and viewing graphs: The graphing facility allows graphs to be created showing a range of data types. Graphs can be plotted using local data only or local and remote data. The system will choose to plot one or two graphs depending on the number of data types selected.
| | |
 | | | | | | Weather station screen: This screen shows the real-time indoor and outdoor data on the top right of the screen, which is coming in from the attached weather station. The bottom right section shows the max/min values since the time the software was started. It will depend on the station type as to how often the real time information is updated. The L12 Matrix tends towards a 30-second update.
| | |
 | | | | | | Summary reports: Summary reports can be created for a variety of time periods, which can then be viewed on screen and printed out for reference. Choose whether to create a daily report, monthly report or a custom time period of your choosing.
