| Supporting Services Department The Supporting Services Department provides support to the customer in the following areas; site inspections, system recommendations, system installation, maintenance & repairs and customer training. Site inspections for the purpose of evaluating project costs and proposals can be undertaken by our team of system engineers. From these visits sound recommendations regarding project characteristics unique to each individual system can then be made. Installation of equipment will then be performed by personnel with background knowledge of the system. Maintenance of systems can be carried out on an 'on-call' basis or scheduled as part of our comprehensive maintenance agreements which include preventive maintenance (testing and re-calibration carried out at agreed intervals) and corrective maintenance (the obligation to carry out repairs within an agreed time period). Customer training is available on-site at time of installation or at our own local facilities by qualified staff. Sensor calibration, testing and certification are also carried out by the Supporting Services Department. |
| Quality The Directors at Metcheck believe that quality control has the same priority as working to a time schedule and cost budget. Skyview ensures that all employees carry out their work in accordance with agreed specifications. This quality assurance system is formulated by adherence to an accepted quality assurance manual which can be made available for inspection if required. A quality plan is formulated when a project timetable has been identified and is presented for client approval. Documented inspections of equipment before dispatch, on installation and during operations are undertaken. Non-conformities are recorded and rectification performed and documented. Sub-contractors and suppliers are audited as required. |
| After Sales Service Metcheck repairs, maintains and carries out modification to keep systems fully operational and incorporate latest developments. This can be carried out by our system engineers on site or at our equipped workshop facilities. Metcheck technical support services are used worldwide and are specialised in short notice mobilisation, which is essential for maintaining high performance and low mean times between failures. |
