Metcheck supply a range of specially designed recording inks ideal for use with the Metcheck range of barographs and chart papers. Our ink is a special slow drying / slow evaporating product that has been specially designed for chart recorders. Traditional barographs use a wet bucket nib which should hold one or two drops of ink lasting about a week. A 10ml bottle of Metcheck barograph ink should last around 18 months.
Metcheck barograph ink comes in a 10ml bottle and is available in various colours; traditionally Blue ink is used for barographs and pressure drum recorders; Green ink is used for hygrographs and humidity drum recorders and Red ink is used for thermographs and temperature drum recorders. Metcheck barograph ink is now available in new black and violet colours. Alternatively, customers may opt to choose the ink colour that best contrasts with their recording chart colour.
Our brand new premium glass bottle is the perfect complement to your Metcheck barograph ink. This beautifully crafted glass bottle features a hand-turned brass collar, made here in Suffolk. The bottle also is a perfect size to fit in our Blakeney Barograph, offering a seamless and stylish storage solution. To ensure safe delivery, each bottle is securely packaged. When adding a glass bottle to your order, your ink will be dispatched sealed in a plastic bottle for you to decant into the glass receptacle. Please note, the glass bottles must be stored upright when full as they are not leak-proof.
