Joining Our Newsletter
You can sign up to our newsletter in one of two ways: via a pop-up or via a sign up form.
The pop-up will appear on your screen when you first visit the Metcheck website. If you 'silence' this pop-up by closing it, it will not re-appear for some time. To see it again, you can simply open the Metcheck website in private browsing or Incognito Mode.
If you subscribe to our newsletter via the pop-up, when you submit your email address, a new page will load asking you to fill in you name and address. You must tick the box confirming that you would like to join our newsletter, otherwise your submission will not work. You will also need to complete the spam filter. Although frustrating to complete, these spam filters are essential for us to eliminate false submissions.
You will then receive an email asking you to please confirm your subscription to our newsletter. This will be from Metcheck Weather and you will need to click the button within the email which says 'Yes subscribe me to the list'. You will then receive a second email welcoming you to the mailing list which may include a discount code depending on which offers are running at that time.
If you do not receive the second email, this likely means that you have previously signed up to the Metcheck email newsletter list in the past (and may or may not have since unsubscribed), so you will not receive a welcome email.
The second way you can subscribe to the Metcheck newsletter is via this sign up form: https://www.metcheck.co.uk/pages/subscribe-to-our-newsletter
When using this sign up form, you will not receive a confirmation email. Instead, you will just receive the welcome email (as long as you are not already, or have not previously been, a member of the Metcheck email newsletter list).
The most common reasons that customers do not receive their welcome emails after joining the Metcheck email newsletter list are:
1) They are already a subscriber, or have previously subscribed to our newsletter
2) The email goes into their junk/spam folder
Using Discount Codes
We reward our customers with discount codes from time to time through pop-ups, social media posts, order inserts and email newsletters. To ensure our system can maintain 'one use per customer' regulations, we are unfortunately unable to accept discount codes via telephone orders. To use your discount code, please do not use Paypal checkout as the discount code box will not appear for you. To use your discount code, simply checkout using card payment and type your discount code in the box marked 'discount' on the right-hand side of the screen [see below].
Only one discount code can be used at any time and the applied discount code will automatically reduce the value of your order that you can see on the screen. Please note, we cannot retrospectively apply discount codes to your order once you have placed it, and are unable to refund you the value of any discount code, so if you are struggling to use your discount code, please contact us first so we can resolve any issues you are having.

Any postal orders should include your full name and address along with the name and code of the products you would like to purchase. Please make cheques payable to Metcheck Ltd and post to:

Once you have completed your order online you will receive a confirmation email. If you have placed your order before 2pm Monday to Friday and your items are in stock we will pick, pack and despatch your order the same day if we are able to. If your items are not currently available for despatch or are bespoke we will contact you via email with an estimated despatch date.
If you know that you will not be at your home address on the date of expected delivery, please arrange the goods to be sent to an alternative address, perhaps a neighbour, relative or your work place. This will hopefully avoid any disappointment. Just enter a separate delivery address on to the online order form when prompted.
Our standard delivery is set on a 3-5 day service. If you require a quicker delivery, it must be requested and you will be charged extra. If the courier company fail to deliver on the expected date or time, please notify us as soon as possible.
We cannot compensate for any time taken off work to wait in for a delivery.
How to cancel your order
If you want to cancel your order please call us immediately. If we have not already sent the order we will do our best to cancel it. Please remember that we send most orders on the day we receive them.
WEEE Waste and Recycling Regulations
Under the WEEE Waste and Recycling Regulations, Metcheck are now offering a like for like, take back service to all of our customers. So, if you purchase a new piece of Electronic Weather Monitoring equipment from us, you may return your old equipment to us to be responsibly recycled. Before you return any goods you should contact us for an RMA reference.
You have 28 days from your purchase date to send us your old equipment. You are responsible for the postage costs. Alternatively, Metcheck can arrange to collect your equipment, and charge you a collection fee.
