Metcheck Sunshine Recorder Cards are ideal for anyone using a Campbell Stokes Sunshine Recorder in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. You can pick up a set of 100 cards for your chosen date range, or go for the complete pack of 300 cards at a special discounted price.
The Metcheck recording cards are made from a special board with traditional dark green finish on which even weak sunlight produces a clearly visible trace. They are specially treated to char rather than burn so that the trace produced by strong sunlight does not spread significantly.
There are three types of sunshine recorder cards all marked with hourly intervals. Each type corresponds to the behaviour of the sun at different seasons: long curved for use in the summer, straight for use near the equinoxes and short curved for use in the winter.
