Sheathed minimum thermometer manufactured to Met Office BS692 specifications for use in a Stevenson Screen. Traditionally mounted in a thermometer screen with a 2° incline to the horizontal, the Metcheck minimum thermometer indicates the extremes of ambient air temperature.
The Metcheck 3519 thermometer is alcohol filled as a non-toxic and environmentally friendly alternative to mercury and includes a temperature indicator to enable a daily reset.
