Purpose built to shield instruments against precipitation and direct heat radiation, an instrument shelter still allows air to circulate freely around the internal measuring devices for highly accurate readings.
A Large Stevenson Screen is hugely versatile and can hold a multitude of instruments. Some of the standard contents include; wood-backed Min/Max thermometers, a pair of thermometers, one wet bulb and one dry bulb, when mounted together to create a hygrometer and a drum recorder for humidity or pressure readings.
