Siting Your MIN/MAX Thermometer

Metcheck specialise in supplying MIN/MAX Thermometers for your home or garden. The fun of these instruments is to make a note of your minimum and maximum measurements on a daily basis before resetting. Use the following steps to get the most out of your thermometer.

Siting your MIN/MAX Thermometer

To get the best from your Metcheck thermometer always choose a shaded and protected position with free circulation of air, away from draughts or immediate heat.

The thermometer should never be exposed to extreme conditions such as direct sunlight or be in close contact with anything that may affect the ambient temperature. It should be positioned on a north facing wall at eye level to ensure easy reading.

For more accurate readings directly comparable with those seen on television, the thermometer should be placed in a small Stevenson Screen such as the CM6068.
